Ben Hogan Vintage Iron Set 2/E The IPT "Improved Power Thrust" introduced in 1963.
This set is a very special Experimental Ben Hogan IPT set from 1962/63 with Serial # EX1111 indicating that this set is an Experimental set made prior to the ordinary 1963 production line.
Mr. Hogan always made a few sets that he lent out to PGA Professional Players in order ti get their feedback for improvements before the Ben Hogan Company launched their production line - this must have been such a set given the Serial # EX1111, and probably the first of a batch.
