The 1975 Producer set is Mr. Hogan's best bid on launching a less costly Cast iron vs his normal Forged irons - The Forging process is very time consuming and costly, so by offering a Cast iron he could meet the increasing demand for less costly Ben Hogan iron sets, without sacrificing playability.
